Former Subway sandwich pitchman Jared Fogle was sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in prison Thursday for possession and distribution of child pornography and traveling across state lines for commercial sex with a minor.<br />U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt announced the sentence in federal court in Indianapolis.<br />The sentence is to be served concurrently.<br />Fogle also will get lifetime supervision after he is released.<br />As per federal sentencing guidelines, he must serve 85% of his sentence before he is eligible for release.<br />Fogle's attorneys sought five years for one count of possession of child pornography and one count of traveling across state lines to have sex with a minor.
