Ish-drejtori i "MEICO-s", Ylli Pinari, ka qene pandehuri i 26-te qe i kërkoi Gjykatës pafajësi ne lidhje me akuzat ne drejtim te tij për shpërthimin e 15 marsit 2008 ne ish-fabrikën e demontimit ne Gërdec. Prokuroria 2 muaj me pare ka kërkuar burgim te përjetshëm për Pinarin. Ne përgjigje te kësaj kërkese vete i pandehuri paraqiti ne gjykate një material voluminoz prej 260 faqesh për te argumentuar pafajësinë. Ish-kreu i "MEICO-s" pretendoi se akuza ndaj tij ka qenë dhe vazhdon të mbetet tendencioze dhe këtë e ka lidhur me faktin se ne materialin e akuzës, emri i tij është përmendur plot 475 herë, ndërsa emri i ndërmarrjes "MEICO" 410 herë, në një kohë kur flitet për 29 persona të dërguar për gjykim. Sipas te pandehurit, akuzat e Prokurorisë janë të pabazuara dhe nuk u provuan prej saj në këtë gjykim dhe për këtë arsye Gjykata duhet ta shpalle te pafajshëm. Ish-drejtori i MEICO-s do te vazhdoje mbrojtjen edhe ditën e hënë ndërsa pas tij do te paraqesin konkluzionet edhe dy te pandehurit e fundit, Mihal Delijorgji dhe Shkëlzen Madani dhe me pas do te jete Gjykata ajo qe do te japë verdiktin përfundimtar për 29 te akuzuarit.<br /><br />Ex-director of "MEICO" Star Pinari, defendant was 26-of that innocence, the Court asked about the allegations in his direction for the explosion of 15 March 2008 in the former factory dismantling at Gerde. 2 months before the prosecution has sought a life sentence for Pinari. According to defendants, the Prosecution charges are unfounded and not proved by it in this trial and therefore the Court should declare him innocent. Former director of MEICO will continue protecting the day Monday and then will present its findings to defendant's two recent Delijorgji Shkelzen Michael Madani and then will be what the Court will give the final verdict for 29 the accused.
