Çmimi i karburanteve ka shënuar sërish një rekord të ri në tregun shqiptar. Një litër naftë blihet me 189 lekë, ndërsa një litër benzinë me 191 lekë, duke pësuar të dyja një rritje me 4 lekë. Sipas ekspertëve të hidrokarbureve, rritja e çmimit të arit të zi në bursa ka dhënë menjëherë efektin edhe tregun vendas. Një zhvillim i tille, sipas tyre pritej pas ndalimit te eksportit të naftës nga ana e Iranit për Britaninë dhe Francën, qe u pasua me rritjen më të madhe të naftës gjatë nëntë muajve të fundit, në bursa. Në bursa ne New York një fuçi naftë u kuotua me 107 dollarë, ndërkohë që në atë të Londrës një fuçi naftë kushton 123 dollarë. Një element tjetër që ka dhënë përsëri efekt në rritjen e karburanteve në tregun e brendshëm është edhe forcimi i dollarit. Në tregun tonë valutor, dollari është luhatur gjatë kësaj jave në kuotat 104 dhe 106 lekë.
