Kryesocialisti Edi Rama ka kritikuar procesin e zgjedhjes se Presidentit, duke rrezuar edhe kandidaturën e ministrit te Brendshëm, Bujar Nishani. Pak minuta pas tërheqjes se Artan Hoxhës nga kandidimi për president, lideri i opozitës ka deklaruar se PS nuk e pranon kandidaturën e Nishanit duke e cilësuar kandidimin e tij si një hap prapa. Rama ka përsëritur kërkesën për një proces gjithëpërfshirës, duke deklaruar se po rrezikojmë statusin e vendit kandidat. Një dite me pare, kandidatura e Bujar Nishanit u rrezua nga opozita ne tryezën me kryeministrin Sali Berisha.<br /><br />Kryesocialisti Edi Rama has criticized the process of choosing the President, pulling down the nomination of the Minister of Interior, Bujar Nishani. A few minutes after withdrawal of Artan Hoxha from running for president, opposition leader said that the SP does not accept candidacy Nishani considering his nomination as a step backwards. Rama has reiterated the request for an inclusive process, stating that it is risk status of candidate country. A day earlier, Bujar Nishani candidacy was deposed by the opposition in the table with Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
