Kreu i këshillit kombëtar te rezistences ne Iran, Shahin Gobadi, ka refuzuar oferten e qeverise shqiptare per te ndihmuar me strehimin e 210 muxhahedineve me argumentin se ata jane rreth 3 mije anetare ne organizate.<br />Ne nje interviste telefonike per "Associatet press", Gobadi ka falënderuar qeverine ne Tirane per kete ndihme, por deklaroi se grupi Muxhahedin - e - khalq, s'mund ta pranoje azilin vetëm per nje numër te vogël anëtaresh. Gobadi ka cituar nje statistike te kombeve te bashkuara ne te cilen thuhet se pjesëtaret e grupit revolucionar ne Iran qe jane te strehuar ne bazen amerikane "Kampi i lirisë" ne Irak jane 3000. Gobadi thekson se me 9 shkurt kampi i lirise u sulmua me dy bomba dhe përçarja e grupit, duke transferuar nje pjese te muxhahedineve jashte Irakut do te rriste rrezikun per jetet e tyre.
