If there is any team in the NBA that knows what Paul George can do on a basketball court when he is at his best, it's the Washington Wizards.<br />It was against them that George dropped 28 second-half points in the Indiana Pacers' Game 4 comeback win over the Wizards in the second round of the 2014 playoffs.<br />That was George at the peak of his powers.<br />He was a devastating MVP-caliber franchise player and just 23 years old.<br />Then the 6-foot-9 forward broke his right leg in gruesome fashion that summer.<br />Whether he could retain his status as one of the sport's bright young stars instantly became unclear.<br />George has quelled that uncertainty.<br />He is not only an elite two-way player once again, just 16 months removed from the horrific event, but he believes he is better than ever before.
