There's another star lending her name to a very important cause these days.<br />Pop star P!<br />nk has just recently been named as a UNICEF ambassador on Monday, with her mission already clear: promote physical activity in U.S. children.<br />This is the same undertaking as current First Lady Michelle Obama, and the initiative seeks to raise awareness as well as money for vitamin-rich, nutritional peanut paste to be delivered to internationally.<br />After seeing malnourished children in Haiti, the singer-songwriter was clearly affected.<br />In a recent interview, she had this to say about the current plight of underprivileged children in Haiti:"I got to watch mommas learning how to feed it to their kids.<br />And within a week, you can see the difference in these children.<br />It brings them back to life.<br />It's amazing.<br />When you get to see it with your own eyes and you see that something works, then it's a lot easier to get behind and advocate for it and try to make other people aware of it," she said.
