Time-lapse footage has emerged of the severe smog in Beijing gradually dissipating overnight.<br /><br />The video was filmed from Tuesday evening to midnight in a southeastern area of the capital city.<br /><br />According to news reports, the smog had affected the city since last Friday, until the Tuesday wind blew it away and cleared the sky.
