Fooding hit the Lake District on Saturday as the effects of Storm Desmond began to be felt across parts of the UK.<br /><br />Roads were inundated in the town of Grasmere where the River Rothay burst its banks.<br /><br />People in large parts of Scotland and northern England have been warned to prepare for flooding as Storm Desmond continues to bring heavy rain.
