To the surprise of very few, bruising Alabama running back Derrick Henry won the Heisman Trophy Saturday night over fellow finalists Christian McCaffrey of Stanford and Deshaun Watson of Clemson.<br />Henry captured 42.2 percent of the first-place vote and led the way with 1,832 total points.<br />Christian McCaffrey finished second in voting, garnering 290 first-place votes and finishing with 1,539 points.<br />Deshaun Watson rounded out the top three with 148 first-place votes and 1,165 total points.<br />Henry has led Alabama to a 12-1 record, the SEC title and a place in the College Football Playoff.
