Adele is going on the road for the first time in five years.<br />On Monday, the 27-year-old singer announced a North American tour that kicks off July 5 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and wraps on Nov. 15 in Mexico City.<br />The outing includes a whopping six nights at New York's Madison Square Garden and six shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.<br />Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. local time.<br />Adele will be on tour for a good portion of 2016.<br />The North American leg follows previously announced dates in the U.K. and Europe.<br />The "Hello" singer will be out behind her No. 1 album, "25," which was released last month and went on to sell 3 million copes in one week.
