Footage has emerged from the US of a surprise tornado striking Lindale in Texas. <br /><br />The footage, filmed by a man from his house on December 12, shows the twister forming in the distance. <br /><br />He can be heard telling someone, possibly his daughter, to "stay in the bathroom" as the storm pounds another part of the city miles away. <br /><br />You can also hear what appears to be a tornado warning siren. <br /><br />The twister was reportedly a surprise as no weather warnings were issued. <br /><br />According to local reports, around 50 homes were damaged.
