During Barbara Walters' latest ABC special, "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015," Bradley Cooper opens up about his late father, Charles Cooper, who died in 2011 after battling a long illness.<br />The actor has been nominated for countless awards, but his role in his most recent Oscar nominated movie, American Sniper, would have made his father especially overjoyed.<br />"I think he wouldn't believe it," Cooper tells Walters.<br />"I really wish, I mean thank God he was alive for so many of the successes, but like the Clint Eastwood thing he would have really loved that was one of his heroes."<br />Furthermore, Cooper's lead role in The Elephant Man on Broadway - which went on to be nominated for a Tony Award brings back childhood memories of his father introducing him to the film version.
