The UN Security Council has agreed on a roadmap to peace in Syria. <br />The resolution calls for a UN-monitored ceasefire, and peaceful talks between Damascus and the rebels. It also envisions elections within 18 months. However, there was no mention of the future of President Assad. <br />That's after the US toned down its regime-change rhetoric.
