Conservative MP Liam Fox will campaign for Britain to leave the European Union, he has confirmed. <br />The former defence secretary told The Andrew Marr Show that he believed ever closer union was "against Britain's national interest". <br />He also called for cabinet ministers who opposed remaining within the EU to be allowed to speak out openly on the issue and said that he could share a platform with UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
