British actor Orlando Bloom found himself in visa trouble in India, when he was deported after discovering that his e-visa application had been rejected.<br />After the interventon of India's external affairs ministry, Bloom's visa was granted and he took the next flight to India.<br />Bloom arrived in Delhi from London at 1.30 am on Saturday, 19 Dec., at the invitation of the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav to promote tourism for a state government event.<br />After arrival, he was told that his e-visa application had been rejected, and deported on the 4 a.m. British Airways flight from Delhi to London.<br />After the intervention of India's external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, the actor was issued a fresh visa.<br />Since arriving in India, Bloom has visited the Taj Mahal in Agra and said that he found the experience "amazing".
