Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a taxi rushing off a bridge into the river after being hit by a white BMW.<br /><br />In the video, captured on a security camera in Liaoning Province on Sunday, the taxi is crossing the bridge when the white car suddenly approaches from its right at a high speed, crashing it off road before driving away.<br /><br />According to news reports, a passing driver called the police and helped them save the taxi driver Mr Li who suffered minor injuries on his head and hands.<br /><br />The BMW driver was found and arrested later that day, while the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
