Janet Jackson has paused her Unbreakable World Tour because of an unspecified, upcoming surgery.<br />The 49-year-old singer-songwriter issued the update on her social media and website, noting that any affected concert dates would be pushed back to and rescheduled in the spring.<br />"Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time," she wrote. "<br />The tour, to promote Jackson's new album of the same name, began at the end of summer in Canada.<br />The next Unbreakable destination was supposed to be Denver, on January 9, followed by several more Stateside stops until a switch to the U.K. at the end of March.
