The Department of Homeland Security is finalizing plans for a series of raids to deport hundreds of families who have immigrated from Central America since 2014, according to a report.<br />The Washington Post, citing unnamed sources familiar with the plan, reports that the large-scale deportation effort could begin as early as January.<br />The Immigration and Customs Enforcement would carry out the raids, and target families who have already been ordered to leave the U.S by immigration judges.<br />The Post reports that more than 100,000 families have entered the U.S. from its border with Mexico since 2014.
