Hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes and thousands are without power after widespread flooding across parts of northern England. <br />In total, more than 400 flood alerts and warnings - over 30 of them severe - are in place for England, Scotland and Wales. <br />In Lancashire, it is thought every river reached record levels. <br />Some of the worst flooding is in Ribchester and Whalley with more heavy rain to come.
