A nasty rumor that Janet Jackson may have throat cancer has forced the singer out of silence.<br />“The rumors are untrue,” she wrote in a video message along with song lyrics from her tune “The Great Forever.”<br />“I do not have cancer.<br />I’m recovering.<br />My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised the postponed shows will be rescheduled.<br />Thank you for your prayers and love.”<br />On Christmas Eve, Jackson tweeted that she had to postpone her “Unbreakable” tour due to doctor’s orders.<br />“I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon… There will be no further comment, ” she tweeted.<br />Weeks later, Radar reported she had a tumor that could be cancerous and was set to undergo surgery.<br />On Wednesday, “Extra” reported doctors have cleared the singer to resume her tour in March.
