World Bank predicts sluggish global economic growth

The World Bank's latest look at the year ahead suggests that global growth may continue to limp along. <br />It predicts economic activity will grow by 2.9% in 2016 - a reduction from its June forecast of 3.3%. <br />In East Asia and the Pacific, growth is expected to slow to 6.3%, largely due to the sputtering Chinese economy. <br />But South Asia is a bright spot, expected to grow at 7.3% this year. <br />We spoke to one of the report's authors, who said falling commodity prices were one of the big drags on global growth.
