ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA — Police dashcam footage captured a drunk driver driving down a Georgia highway on the wrong side of the road on New Year's. <br /> <br />The camera picked up the action on the GA 400 highway in the early hours of Jan. 1. <br /> <br />The footage, uploaded to Facebook by the Alpharetta Safety Department, shows officers trying in vain to get driver Rhett Rush to stop heading north into oncoming, southbound vehicles. <br /> <br />Officers chased Rush for nearly half a mile down the highway, but he refused to pull over, 11Alive reported. <br /> <br />Eventually, police were able to box Rush in and stop him.
