Extremely rare owl surprises bird snapper waiting to take its picture <br /> <br />Poëti tweeted the photographs on Thursday evening with the message: "Beautiful snowy owl taken by the road network surveillance cameras on the A-40 in western MTL [Montreal]".He later added on Facebook: “An impressive solo was captured in full flight by the surveillance cameras of the road network on highway 40 ... in the west of the island of Montreal. <br /> <br />"Here's a couple of shots of this beautiful snowy owl!”The temperature in Quebec is currently around -3°C, perfect for snowy owls who are native to Arctic regions in North America and Eurasia. <br /> <br />Their wingspans can reach a staggering 150cm.
