Around 60 sculptors have been taking part in the Harbin International Ice Sculpting Competition in northeast China. <br />The finished sculptures are displayed at the Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, which runs until 5 February. <br />Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to visit Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, which is one of China's coldest areas.
