Spieth shoots near-record 30 under, wins Tournament of Champions

Jordan Spieth tore page one out of the Tiger Woods career playbook on Sunday at the 2016 Tournament of Champions.<br />He used a crazy low first 54 holes to buoy a modest 6-under 67 in the final round.<br />It was his worst round of the week.<br />Spieth finished at 30 under on the week and won by eight over runner up Patrick Reed.<br />Thirty under!<br />Spieth is just the second golfer ever to finish 30 under or better in a 72-hole event.<br />Spieth was as dominant as he's ever been in any of his now seven PGA Tour victories.<br />He joins Woods as just the second 22-year-old to reach the seven-win plateau since World War II.<br />All seven wins have come since the beginning of 2013.<br />It is the most of anyone on the PGA Tour in that time.
