Attention minivan shoppers, there is a new van in the in the segment that is going to make a name for itself fast.<br />The name is Pacifica - Chrysler Pacifica to be exact - and said to deliver segment leading levels of functionality, versatility, technology and in a boldly styled shape that will redefine the minivan segment in 2017.<br />Revealing the new Pacifica minivan this week at the North American International Auto Show, Chrysler says that the new Pacifica - built on a brand new platform - features nearly 40 segment firsts including offering a segment first hybrid-powered version that is expected to get 80 miles per gallon equivalent in city driving.<br />With its long wheelbase, wide track, low ground clearance and available 20-inch wheels, the Chrysler Pacifica appears athletic yet presents a unique urban sophistication that some might say borders somewhere between luxury SUV and a luxury minivan.
