Footage of the remarkably well-preserved body of a dead Buddhist monk who passed away in 2012 at the age of 94. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Jinjiang, Fujian Province last Sunday, shows thousands of Buddhists gathering to take part in what's known as an "Open Cylinder" ceremony. <br /><br />The dead monk, who was called Fuhou, practiced Buddhism for 81 one years and was placed in the cylinder when he died, preserving his body as a "mark of respect" by the Puzhao Temple.<br /><br />Fuhou's body will now be covered in a gold substance and made into a Buddhist mummy.
