1990 (Veteran vocalist Shirley Bassey performs a beautiful song written by Don McLean titled, 'And I Love You So' - Performed during a 1990 concert in Yokohama Japan. This song is a favorite of Bassey's, and she has included it in her concert song line-up for many decades. In the clip Shirley said this song was one of her first hits, but here she made a slight mistake. Shirley's cover of McLean's song was included on her LP of the same name, and this entire LP was a top 20 hit for Shirley; it remained on the charts for 9 weeks. Shirley's first high ranking chart success single, Banana Boat Song, was released back in 1957, and there were many other single hits in between the late 50's and early 70's.
