Just like the week before, it was a fumble that was the turning point of a Pittsburgh Steelers game.
Last week it was Jeremy Hill of the Cincinnati Bengals that put the ball on the ground and allowed the Steelers to win the game.
This week it was Pittsburgh running back Fitzgerald Toussaint that fumbled at a key moment, and gave the Broncos the momentum they needed to knock the Steelers out of the playoffs.
It’s hard to imagine how miserable Toussaint must be after a play like this.
The camera kept cutting to him sitting on the bench, and you just had to wonder what was going through his head.
Nevertheless, after the game, and after the Steelers season ended, Toussaint’s teammates were there for him.
It is clear that this franchise is a family, and they take care of their own, no matter how bad things get.
