SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA — Two women were killed and several others seriously injured after an Oakland bound bus crashed early Tuesday morning. <br /> <br />The Greyhound bus was carrying 21 people including the driver en route from L.A. to Oakland on the 101 Freeway when the accident occurred in San Jose. <br /> <br />The bus then struck a number of weighted barrels before mounting a concrete median and flipping onto its side, Reuters reported. <br /> <br />Two female passengers were killed after being ejected from the vehicle during the crash, while five others suffered life threatening injuries, KTLA reported, citing a fire official. <br /> <br />According to Reuters, one passenger told the San Francisco Chronicle that the driver had fallen asleep.
