Offseason for the Pittsburgh Steelers continued today as they added four more players to the 2016 roster via futures contracts.<br />These contracts get their name because players are signed to them prior to the start of the season according to the start of the league’s year.<br />Additionally, anyone signed to a futures contract cannot have been on an active roster at the end of the previous regular season.<br />So if a player wasn’t on a roster on Week 17 on the 2015 season is eligible to be signed to a futures contract by any team.<br />The Steelers signed four players to futures contracts today.
