meant to post this little cheesy vacation video I made of our awesome 13-day road trip when I got home from Iceland -- I put together a bunch of video clips both Laura and I took on our iPhone's on our trip then strung them together on my iPhone's iMovie during my airplane ride home...I was going to try and edit it down before sharing, but I just can't decide what to include and what to delete and now it's been six months! So here is our 13-day Iceland road trip, uncut

We started in the Iceland's biggest city and capital, Reykjavik (where Laura surprised me with an amazing helicopter happy hour trip! We flew up to the top of a gorgeous mountain covered in squishy moss overlooking the lake that the movie Noah was filmed at and drank bubbles and enjoyed the view and pristine nature), then hopped in our awesome rental car and headed North on Road 1 (known as the Ring Road), which runs around the entire country. We chose to go clockwise around the country and spent the night at farms long the way (booked through Icelandic Farm Holidays), which was awesome. We loved staying at the farms with lovely, hospitable families. They all provided breakfast in the morning and some places offered dinners, too, which were usually three-course meals that included either amazing lamb right off the farm or fresh cod caught from nearby streams or the ocean. Our main (overnight) stops (not including all the stuff we saw along the way while we were driving -- you can literally jump out of your car in so many places to see gorgeous views, hikes, waterfalls or "foss") included: Borgarnes (stayed at the farm Ensku húsin and had our favorite lamb dinner there); Grundarfjörður (stayed on the farm Suður-Bár -- we loved this Farm with the beautiful snowy mountains to the left and the ocean right in front of us); Hvammstangi, which is known for it's seal watching in May....but everything was closed and the seal tours weren't open yet so we weren't sure why we were sent here....this was our one "bad" day on the whole trip, if you can call it a bad day. We were on a long, rocky, rough road for hours and got lost all day trying to find our farm house (Brekkulækur) Nothing a little Brio beer and dancing in our room couldn't fix!); Akureyri (we stayed at the farm called Lamb Inn - Öngulsstaðir. This was one of my favorite farms we stayed at -- the family was SO lovely! and one of my favorite towns we visited. It's the second-largest city in Iceland); Laugar/Lake Myvatn area (we stayed at Stóru-Laugar, another favorite farmhouse with amazing dinner and lovely hosts and a really cool looking hot tub. Lake Myvatn was fun to explore with the volcano, lava fields and beautiful lake. This is the area where we picked up hitch hikers. Wish we had a video of that!); Egilsstaðir (Hótel Eyvindará was amazing and had great food. The trips we took to nearby towns Borgarfjörður Eystri and
