Heads up Skype for Android users: The app is getting a few new productivity features that may save you some time.<br />For starters, if someone sends you a Word document via Skype, you can now simply tap the file to open it right on your device.<br />This feature also works for other types of Microsoft Office documents like PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets that find their way to you via 1-on-1 and group chats.<br />It should also now be easier to add Skype calls to your calendar.<br />You can already schedule Skype calls from Outlook, but now the functionality goes both ways, letting you schedule the call right from Skype.
