Footage of a protest against the construction of a dam has emerged from Chile. <br /><br />The video filmed in Coyhaique, Patagonia, shows how citizens took to the streets to call for the abolition of the Government’s environment resolution that allows the construction of a water reservoir in the area.<br /><br />According to local organisations, workers will be put in danger because the area sits on a fault line meaning there’s a high risk of an earthquake. <br /><br />There are also concerns the construction of the dam will cause serious harm to the environment.
