The Cleveland Cavaliers have fired coach David Blatt, a person familiar with the move told USA TODAY Sports.<br />The person spoke on condition on anonymity because the move hasn't yet been made public.<br />Tyronn Lue takes over as head coach.<br />Blatt was in his second season as the coach of the Cavaliers, and his team leads the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record.<br />Last year the Cavs lost in the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors.<br />Another person familiar withe move told USA TODAY Sports that LeBron James had no role in Blatt's dismissal and was not asked for input.
