NEW YORK — New York police captured a cow after it ran away from a live poultry and meat shop in Queens Thursday afternoon.

According to the New York Police Department, the cow escaped from Archer Halal Live Poultry and Meat Market on 165th Street in Jamaica and eventually ended up in a parking structure on Archer Avenue where it was recaptured by meat store employees.

"Yes, you heard right! Cow on the loose-Jamaica Queens," the 103rd Precinct posted on Twitter. "All Officers safe. No injuries. Thank you all for your patience."

This wasn't the only hoofed mammal to have recently run loose onto the streets in Queens.
