Relatively recent footage of the mountains of abandoned refugee life jackets on the Greek island of Lesbos.<br /><br />The video, filmed at Eftalou on December 27, shows thousands life jackets piled up, which authorities say they don't have the means to dispose of. <br /><br />Tens of thousands of people have made their way to Europe in the last year, mainly those fleeing the conflict in Syria and other parts of the Middle East. <br /><br />A large number have landed on Greek islands.
