Joseph Fiennes has been cast to play Michael Jackson in a new British made-for-TV movie, chronicling a fabled road trip that the King of Pop took with Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando following the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001.<br />The one-off Sky Arts special will also star Stockard Channing as Taylor and Brian Cox as Brando.<br />The unbelievable story of the three entertainment icons hitting the open road was based on a disputed report that was published by Vanity Fair in 2011, wherein they all rented a car and fled New York westward following the attacks.<br />Unable to fly, they were hoping to make it home to California and made it as far as Ohio before catching a plane the rest of the way.<br />Fiennes is best known for his role in 1998's Shakespeare in Love, as well as more recent roles in Hercules and American Horror Story.
