Turkey on Saturday accused Russia of a new violation of its airspace, warning Moscow against "irresponsible behaviour".<br />"A Su-34 plane belonging to the Russian Federation air force violated Turkish airspace at 11:46 local time yesterday (Friday)," the foreign ministry said in a statement.<br />"Before the violation actually took place, Russian plane was warned numerous times by Turkish air radar units, (through appropriate channels) both in English and Russian languages.<br />Despite several previous explicit statements of warnings by both Turkey and NATO, this new violation is yet another concrete example of Russian escalatory behavior."<br />Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday warned Russia it will "face consequences" after the latest violation of its airspace.
