KARACHI: Lyari’s notorious gang-war supremo Uzair Jan Baloch has been arrested by Rangers in Karachi, Samaa reported Saturday. <br /> <br />According to Rangers spokesman, Baloch was arrested on outskirts of Karachi while attempting to enter the city. <br /> <br />Also read: Uzair Baloch presented before court in Dubai <br /> <br />With head-money of Rs.5 million, the main character of Lyari gang war is facing over 55 cases of murders, kidnappings, extortion and terrorism. <br /> <br />Following the arrest, sources said, police and Rangers have been put on high alert, with enhanced patrolling in Lyari in the wake of any possible reaction. <br /> <br />Also read: Uzair Baloch 'gone with the wind' after Dubai release <br /> <br />After fleeing from Pakistan, Baloch was arrested on December 28, 2014 by Interpol at Dubai airport where he arrived from Muscat carrying a counterfeit Iranian passport. <br /> <br />Following court proceedings in Dubai, the accused was handed over to Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in February 2015
