Hyderabad, Feb 2 (ANI): Polling is underway for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections amid tight security. The voting began at 7am in the morning and will continue till 5pm. Being the first municipal elections in the state after formation of Telangana, the elections would witness polling by 75 lakh voters, who will choose from over 1,300 candidates in 150 wards. The last municipal elections in Hyderabad city were held in 2009 under the united government of Andhra Pradesh.
