Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump thanked his supporters in Des Moines on Monday night as it became clear that he had been defeated in the Iowa Republican caucuses by main rival Texas Senator Ted Cruz. The republican maintained hope that he would defeat any of the Democratic candidates in the future. New Hampshire will host the next primary elections on February 9th.
