<p>In Lebanon one in five people is now a Syrian refugee. The country closed its borders over a year ago, and the government has become more restrictive in issuing residence permits. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees have been forced into hiding, unable to travel or work. Their children, who are born to undocumented parents, risk becoming stateless.
