Someone hacked the Canadian Government computers and stole people's info, and are attempting to scam people via the phone. This is a recording of one such call we got recently from the hacker / scammers.<br /><br />Unlucky for them we don't call back strange numbers, we called the CRA 1800 number and we're confirmed that this call was one such attempted scam.<br /><br />If you got a message like this... it is fraudulent. The cra would almost always send you mail first, and even if they did call you would not do so in that manner. Ever cra agent has a number or code that they say after telling you they're name....
