KINTAMPO / GHANA — 53 people were killed in a crash near Kintampo, Ghana, involving a cargo truck and a Metro Mass bus enroute to Tamale. <br /> <br />A surviving passenger on the bus told police that the bus had brake problems prior to the crash. A mechanic was called to look at the brakes but was unable to fix the problem. <br /> <br />The driver continued the journey with faulty brakes.
