Ever wanted to make a gum ball machine? You may use an unpainted one and just paint it yourself. I recommend you use a 2in1 Spray paint or acrylic paint and clear coat spray. However, using a pre-painted Pot and plate will save you time. All i had to do was paint the white rings on the bottom. I used model car paint that I had already. It works very well!\r<br>\r<br>Items you will need:\r<br>Flower Pot\r<br>\r<br>Flower Pot Plate (One that will fit the mouth of glass vase/bowl.)\r<br>\r<br>Round Glass Flower Vase or Bowl (Floral section of Walmart)\r<br>\r<br>Gum balls or Cookies\r<br>\r<br>Ornamental Piece (To place on top of lid for decoration)\r<br>\r<br>Hot Glue Sticks\r<br>\r<br>Hot Glue Gun\r<br>\r<br>Enamel Base Paint\r<br>\r<br>Paint Brush\r<br> \r<br>Start off by removing all stickers or tags off of the following items:\r<br>Pot, Plate and Glass vase/bowl. \r<br>\r<br>Next paint the uncolored rings on the bottom of the pot and plate.\r<br>\r<br>Once dry place a generous amount of hot glue on the bottom of the glass vase/bowl.\r<br>\r<br>Next Center the Glass vase/bowl to the bottom of the flower pot and press down firmly until it has bonded. For a longer lasting bond use a clear epoxy.\r<br>\r<br>For the lid you will need the ornamental piece you have chosen to go on top of your lid and the flower pot plate. Place a good amount of hot glue on the bottom of the ornamental piece.
