Gumball!! This 66 427 Shelby Cobra is the car from the 1976 film Gumball Rally, which was essentially a all star cast of not only not only actors but some of the most well sot out after cars today, the Cobras main rival in the movie, a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider, which sold not to long ago, for $1.5 million. \r<br>\r<br>However, the true American muscle, the 427 Cobra, back in the 60s you could buy this car for a mere $6,500.00, which even in todays dollars would be approx $45,000.00. Can you imagine, even today buying a 427 replica for that kind of cash?! \r<br>\r<br>These cars go today for an easy half million and and if youre lucky enough, and rich enough you can have the Super Snake for a cool $5.5 million.\r<br>\r<br>They, the makers of the Gumball Rally used two of these 66 Cobras in the making of the film, one of which there was some front end damage from hitting a concrete WALL?? Huh, go figure. This car was fix up to my knowledge and is still running today.\r<br>\r<br>Anyway, now back to the car in GT6, well I am using the blue that was used in the movie, however the white side pipes and the number patch is not in the movie, I added that lol.\r<br>\r<br>This car is a beast on this track and really quite a handful, it gets really lose with alll the hp and ft/lb, so it doesnt take much to get you sideways.. So I had to put a set of SS tires on, installed a default soft racing suspension and for power, no oil change but I did install sports exhaust.\r<br>\r<br>As usual, no aids, except 1 abs and I am using a controller.
