Ah, feels good to be doing this sort of thing again! Ive been wanting to do this musical for ages, but had trouble casting. Now it seems appropriate with the new upcoming Peanuts movie. I used the 1999 revival version because that is the more popular and accessible one. Plus, more songs!\r<br>\r<br>I thought of Spike for Charlie Brown because even though he always tries to help, it doesnt always work out well and he feels insignificant every now and then. I had a choice whether to have the entire cast made up of foals or the Mane 6. Since Spike is the central character, I chose the latter (even though Diamond Tiara would be a perfect Lucy). Besides, its adults playing kids anyway. As there are so many characters, Ill explain the rest of my casting when we get to each of their songs.\r<br>\r<br>Cast:\r<br>Charlie Brown - Spike\r<br>Linus - Twilight Sparkle\r<br>Sally - Pinkie Pie\r<br>Schroeder - Applejack\r<br>Lucy - Rarity\r<br>Snoopy - Rainbow Dash\r<br>\r<br>Sorry, none of the other Peanuts characters have lines in this musical (too bad, cuz I wouldve had RD as Peppermint Patty or Fluttershy as Marcie).
