Cool footage has emerged from South Carolina of a drone crashing into a fast-flowing river.<br /><br />The filmer was getting his drone into position to record a kayak race in Columbia when his quadcopter hit a power line and plummeted into the Congaree River.<br /><br />After a few moments the pilot managed to take off from the water and fly back to safety.<br /><br />"When the quadcopter hit the water it knocked off the protective casing I had protecting the electronics. Its amazing it didn't break or short out anything," the filmer later wrote online
